    The bridge does look off, but the two outside strings seem to follow the neck fine.. Could be an optical delusion?

    I agree with Pablo the bridge did looks off centre. Glad its all good !

    Yeah, the grooves in the saddles are on the left side of the barrel, so the bridge is shifted a bit to the right.
    I'm fixing the nut to get the action much lower at the first fret, and I have to cut down the pickup mount
    springs to lower those a bit too.

    Got my nut sorted. Action at the first fret is nice and low, around .1 mm when the string is fretted at
    the third position. I have some Gibby pickup springs that I'm going to throw under the pups......
