    That body colour looks fantastic andrew! She's gonna be a fantastic axe. The jnrs are really amazing to play IMO - the offspring will love it, if it can be pried it out you hands once finished that is!

    We're just across the way and we've had 320mm in the last few days. Luckily I am still waiting for the kit to arrive so it isn't the weather, but Aussie Post that is holding me back...

    It has its pilot wings. Neck sanded ready for stain apart from a small bit of headstock that needs tidying up with a needle file. Now where did I put it?

    And the dye goes onto the neck. Looks a bit patchy where still wet. 2x coats of tru oil on the body

    nice work Andrew, looks excellent so far. I'll have a read early on the thread to see why this build is in a hurry.
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Body colour is looking amazing Andrew. Those first few coats of TO really get the grain popping. She's going to be a stunner! Oh, and great work on the headstock BTW.
