hi guys,

More clearcoats today. Body grain is almost filled enough for me to cut it back level. The neck has 7 coats of Tru-Oil and is starting to look good. I'll start cutting the clear back with 800 grit paper tomorrow then a couple of final clear coats. Hoping to get a nice smooth final finish. Fingers crossed!

@Wokka, @Callum - thanks for the encouragement guys! You'll all be glad to know that I messaged Adam about the gold hardware, and will purchase today or tomorrow .

Yeah Wokks when you are coding from home it doesn't take much to spray a layer of clear on the body, stick it under the heat lamps, and go back to the desk. Or maybe grab the neck, steel wool it and add another layer of TO. Just little 5 minute jobs. I'll have the clear coats on this bad boy finished in 3 days at this rate!
