So that's 2mm either side at the last fret? I would have thought you'd almost get away with that, you'll have to put up some pics.
Hey at least the strings haven't left the fretboard which is a major plus. Good luck with the routing.

nice one Kurt, if the bridge saddle widths are the same it should be fine. I'd get onto Pablo is routing a scratch body and can probably help with the templates required for the FR routes

Bargey that 2mm on either side is what it would have been with the original bridge anyway so the floyd rose should fit fine

Woks I just messaged Pablo just before I read this and yer from outside string to outside strings on both bridges is 54mm so it should fit perfect

While I wait on Pablo, I'll spend my time finishing the headstock with my coping saw.. Never again, I'm getting wankers cramp 😂

photos will be up by Wednesday at the latest!

more photos to come hopefully in the upcoming days as i took my guitar in a gave it to a rather nice fellow in toowoomba to do the routing for my floyd rose. when that comes back, it will be time to start painting.. finally, although i havnt been able to get ahold of DB to organise a custom colour. anyone know anywhere else that i can order a good stain or that can contact DB for me? Cheers lads

nice one Kurt someone doing the routing. Before you stain it I'd recommend a mock build to make sure the FR fits and works ok, in case it needs any more tweaks. It's worth screwing the neck on, fit the FR, springs, trem claw, string it up to get an idea if the tremelo will sit flat. The spring cavity needs to be long enough to get the necessary tension on the tremelo.
Send DB an email : dingobass at pitbullguitars dot com and hopefully he will get back to you next couple of days about a custom stain.
