So is the Clubbie from the Haynes Build your own Sportscar book, or your own design? I would love to have built one of them, maybe one day as a retirement project.
The clubbie is very loosely based on the Ron Champion book "Build Your Own Sportscar for #250" the book is full of errors not the least of which is the title ( out by $24,500 )
Here are a couple of pics of the Rat
nice looking Datto 1200 ute Dave, so its got a few more horsepower than it came out of the factory, what sort of quarter mile times does it do Dave ?

I guess we'll find out when he stops breaking bits but should be well below 9s, so far 2 x gearboxes ( supposed to be good for 1000Hp ) and stretched the head studs ( 35 psi )
It was such a nice little sleeper when he bought it.
We've also done a major conversion on a HiLux, put a supercharged Lexus V8 in an LC Torana and a 1200Hp Scott Shiroff big block in a VK Commodore also started a build of an exo skeleton rock crawler but moved it on before we got it running.
Not bad for a telephone tech ( me ), a cabinet maker and a water blaster.
nice one Dave, sounds like one tough Datto ute to break that !
