Adam, can the factory do a custom order for the starcaster in an alternate wood? Or do they only do basswood hollows?

At this rate after the summer I might end up with an FC-1 and a starcaster!

Yes but then you're getting well into the $300+ price bracket. If you want a mahogany body it will be around $350. You can custom order one if you want. Usual deal, 50% deposit delivery in March.
