    my mistake you did post a front pic Andrew, looks awesome, what stain colour you got in mind ?
    I'm going to try this technique on an ash body kit for sure
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Sanding sealer verdict. The surface is as close to glass as ash with no grain filler can get but the sterates in it clog the paper up so bad.

    Golden oak prooftint with maybe some Japan brown.

    Mate I should have a keg with my name on it. First was the acrylic ex, then acrylic and 2k Tele, fw stain and 2k lp, now this!

    Wow, she's looking amazing Andrew. After a little stain the burnt grain has come up amazingly! Fantastic job!
