Looking good robin! :-)
Looking good robin! :-)
I'm very impressed with the carving, especially how the knob recesses turned out. There's nothing wrong with modding a kit to please yourself (says me) and there's nothing wrong with your work that I can see.
I know what falling in a heap is like too (think Beyond Blue). And you're right in saying this hobby is good therapy, even when things go awry.

Actually the knob recesses don't stand up very well to close inspection, but hey, skills learnt for future projects.
And you sure are right about this hobby Max. It has helped me through some tough times.
Cheers guys

Thanks for the encouragement Phil, much appreciated.
Unfortunately this build has been plagued by my lack of planning from the outset. But hopefully it will all come together well. All I can do now is make sure that I finish it as best I can.

Stain looks fantastic Robin. With a couple more layers of Tru-oil that filled grain is going to look awesome. Loving this guitar already!!
cheers,
Gav.
