Gavin where did you get the Gibson sticker on the headstock, is that just a clear stick on label ?

    cheers Wokka
    Hi Wokka

Bought some clear transfer paper from a crowd over east, scoured Google for some half decent logo's, printed them on my inkjet and then used an acrylic varnish to seal and waterproof the transfers.

I figure that since these are all for my own collection that Gibson and Co. wont mind since I'm not making money off their coat-tails!!

looks great Gavin, can't recall too many orsome looking green SG's even Angus would be proud of this axe. Best of luck with GOTM, haven't seen any other contenders for March ?

might have to catch up one weekend to see your classy man cave !!

    cheers Wokka

Well my vote (not that it counts for anything) goes to Wokka. That V is shit hot! Well done.

Thanks Pablo, and as Adam said when he first saw the V it looks better in the flesh. It's also a pleasure to play. Hopefully we'll hear from Andy of Wudtone today who the winner is !

That telecaster you built is quite amazing too, well done on that build.

    Cheers Wokka

That's a tough call, I think they both rock but I do admit, if someone said " You can have one of these, pick one" I'd pick the SG-1. Good thing we aren't the judges Pablo or there'd be a tie

Why thank you sir. Winning guitar of the month isn't as satisfying with no competition, but still an honour. Oh well, next month the second of my tele kits that my mate and I have built will be done and in the running. I'm sure we'll see some more great stuff by then.

did you win GOTM November 2012 Pablo ? Course its still an honour to win of you didn't have much competition that month.
I just had a look at your build photos and very impressed at the amount of work that went into the tele.

T'was a labour of love. That was exactly what I wanted in a tele, and at the time, that was the only way to get it. By memory, I think it was december 2012 GOTM. My memory is not to be trusted though.

    I'll break the tie........

...and vote for Phil's, now Adam's Telecaster, thereby creating a hung parliament or something like that...thereby letting the Independant's (Wudtone's Andy) make the decision.

    Gavin,
don't think DB is eligible to enter for GOTM, it's a bit unfair a full time luthier who now works for PBG to enter !
So looks like when Andy wakes up in UK he has a tough decision to make!
