The FV got its 2nd coat of deep colour, starting to look more uniform the finish, pretty happy with the darkness of the colour, will apply base coats next

Hi all,
the FV is on track to enter for GOTM, got 2nd top gloss coat on lastnight, apologies I rushed the photos aren't fantastic. The other photo with mock setup is after 1st silver highlights coat.
Back of neck got 1st top coat and the vintage yellow looks like a good colour choice.
Stay tuned later in the week will be photos of this baby assembled.
Cheers

well, now that you mention it, I see you hacked off the bit that goes between the pups. Didn't notice before you mentioned it, though. I guess you get to enjoy seeing more wood grain that way. Any other reason?Quote from wokkaboy on March 1, 2013, 10:58

You hit the nail on the head Glenn, the maple grain between the pickups is very nice and I didn't want to hide it. The PBG scratchplate is quite different to the actual Flying V scratchplate so not worried about the small chop !Quote from GlennGP on March 1, 2013, 11:41
