Sorry I seem to have replied to a message on p1 of this thread without realizing there was an additional page! Talk about losing it!

I am glad it all worked out, and that you can get the bridge into good position. It will most likely intonate just fine at 650mm...but if you need to move the saddle closer to the nut than the screw will allow, an alternative to sanding would be to get a longer screw.
