Looks great. The colour is very nice. It is also great that you have an itch to do another one!

Wow! Definitely worth the effort to get the pics up! Looks great! A very Chet Atkins vibe to it.

Something strange which I’m hoping I can fix - when the 3 way switch is in the middle position only the volume knob for the bridge pickup changes volume, the neck pickup is working but it’s volume knob does nothing. It works fine when only the neck pickup is selected.
Re filing nut to lower action that end of fret board - I’m thinking removing the nut and sanding the bottom of it is a much easier and safer option
    Cheers

+1 for sanding the base of the nut. I always did that before getting nut files. But take it easy - don't ask how I know!

For electronics - Weird - Does it do the same thing when the top neck pup surround screws are out? This is a long shot, but amuse me. If not, can you post some pictures of the cavity and soldering? It may help us see the issue.

Also good to post the wiring diagram you used. Are both pickups working when it's in the middle position? Is there any change in volume from when it is bridge pup only?

Tried your ideas Trevor - no luck. Both pickups are working in middle position volume changes with bridge pup. If bridge pup is turned up then I can adjust volume with neck pup - I’m very puzzled and trying to upload photos on here is shite

    Hi Tgraham,

I cannot see any issue with the wiring of pots. How about a picture of the 3-way switch?
