    Update:

    Well, my new FNIRSI-1014D 100MHz Digital Oscilloscope/Function Generator finally arrived in the post about a week or so ago, and I've been in the process of familiarizing myself with it, I've noticed that there are a few differences between my old DSE Q1804 20MHz Analog Dual Trace Oscilloscope, and my new Digital Scope, for a start, you don't need to do any mental arithmetic gymnastics when interpreting what you see on the display screen, it includes readouts like frequency, and amplitude, the display is rock-solid steady, bright and crisp, and best of all, I can take up to 1000 screenshots of what I see on the display which will be very handy.

    Here's a pic of my new Digital scope, I set it up to display a 1kHz Sinewave signal coming from it's built-in Function Generator, you can select up to 14 different output waveforms, at a wide range of frequencies which you can easily manually set, I'm actually finding my new Digital scope pretty easy to use, you definitely do not need a degree in rocket science to operate it.

    This new Digital Scope has five times the bandwidth of my Analog Scope, both are perfectly fine for DIY guitar amp building and servicing, but the new Digital Scope is less bulky and weighs less, so it is much easier to carry around, so far I'm really happy with it.

    For those of you looking for an easily affordable Oscilloscope, you can buy these online from Banggood.com.au, this one cost me about Au$290.00 all up, including postage, that's less than what you would normally pay for a similar Analog or Digital Scope, best of all, it also includes a built-in Function Generator you can use as a signal generator.

    It uses a 5V DC/2A usb phone charger plugpack as it's power supply, it comes with two Scope Probes, a lead for the built-in Function Generator, a usb power lead, a usb lead to connect it to a computer, and instructions.
