Hi Guys, Living in the south west of Western Australia. Any one else here?
keen to build my own Electric from scratch.
I have only been playing for about 3 years now(over 60) but as i build alot of stuff by hand i am looking forward to to the knowledge i can get from here.

This is a great hobby where you can combine your building skills with your love of guitars.

I have done a number of kit builds, and a few semi-scratch (I have not tried making necks yet!). I have been doing some scratch tele style guitars and basses over the last year and a bit (there is a link in my signature). If you have the building equipment a scratch build is very do-able. There is still quite a lot of specialized guitar equipment you will need.
