Went with an Ebony stain for the side wall and then learned my lesson of cheap amazon tape and scraped the binding almost everywhere. (these photos were before I scraped the binding)
Dry fit with the pickups sitting in to see how itll all look together.
My big question is for next steps as I have not done a hollow body before. Do I set the neck, poly finish, and then fish the electronics through the pickup cavities? Or should I do the electronics (with or without that extra tubing to help keep everything together) and then set the neck and poly finish?
