    Finished.
I am pretty happy with the result.
The Tonerider blues pickups were a good choice - great sound. Took a while to get intonation right, but it seems OK now. As guitars go it is a different beast and I am looking forward to getting to know it. The bridge is a vintage style Wilkinson with a cover. To be honest, the guitar/bridge looks much better without the cover - which hampers playing anyway (particularly with this style of guitar). Fitted some straplocks and got a nice slightly worn looking leather strap which suits the guitar.

When rest of us are struggling even to put through guitar made from a kit, you go ahead and do a guitar from a empty can . I wish I had 20% of your capabilities.

Man you are onto something. Nice to have something that looks that good without having to mess with finishing! (The body at least!) Maybe you can put up a recording? Also, I think you're right that about the cover.

Thanks for the nice comments folks. It was really not that hard - only one real glitch where i was not sure I had the top of the body at correct distance cbelow fretboard. Took a bit of thinking to design thats all - which was updated frequently as I went slong. Would probably do differently next time - but I got what I was aiming for 🙂

Perhaps a new kit idea for Adam.

Thats a good idea. I had wondered about it myself and how it could be done. It would certainly be a different type of kit - with different challenges and skills to learn. There could be a number of ways to do one. e.g. many folks just cut down an old guitar-body to use as an insert - which deals with routing - but the challenge is then having a template to mark and cut through the top in the correct place (I marked and cut through the top - then routed out the insert I made through the holes). One of the things about having done this is that I learned a bit more about how guitars "work" in terms of assembly - and I think I would possibly now like to try and make my own body for a build
