Yes I got the Lincoln - LCS24 24L Oil-Free 1HP Silent Air Compressor. Also got a hose and connections matching the Star gun.

I have not got an inline filter yet with a regulator, or a second hose as they had run out of stock!

Bit of an update the 24 fret strat has its clear done so now needs to wait a couple of days to harden and then polish this 1 I've used the rit dye racing red, I have sanded it every 2 double header coats of clear picture doesn't do it justice has a nice shine off the gun

    Thanx guys

got this done today used RIT yellow dye and a little warmer for the burst, the burst on this was a real pain it kept bleeding into the yellow making it too harsh, I did the yellow and used a binder over it but still kept bleeding, did the yellow and then 2 coats of clear to seal the yellow then I shot the burst, I'm thinking the mahogany wood was like a sponge, the other strat I haven't a plan for yet I did a matching front of the headstock the same but might go with a bit darker on the burst, not sure if I will go over it with lacquer or 2k clear see what it's like when I get there, for those interested I used a small touch-up gun with 1.0mm needle with the fluid almost off with 8 psi at the gun anymore it was way too much fluid still would have liked it more subtle it is possible I may redo the burst, but give you an idea where im heading with this bugger

had a busy day I have got both mahogany strats in clear will let them cure and sand them back and drop a couple of flow coats then ready to polish, I have finished the 24-fret strat and polished just haft to do some headstock decals and clear them in, 1st mahogany strat is yellow Rit dye black burst its got about 12 coats of clear it's going to match my tele, 2nd strat I redid the burst I wasn't happy I mixed up Oak stain with 40% clear which made it blend better both these are going to be my go-to guitars I'm going to put 1 with noiseless alnico pups, and the other twin rail pups and better bridges on both, the next 1 is the red and black Strat it's staying like it came pretty much stock just with the 24 fret neck all 3 have 3 coats of binder 1 under the dye and 2 over it then clear

1 Rit yellow dye with black burst 12 coats of clear lacquer over 3 coats binder for grain fill

2 Rit yellow dye oak burst 8 coats of clear lacquer over 3 coats binder for grain fill

3 Rit racing red dye, black burst 12 coats clear lacquer 3 coat binder under the red
