Interested to know how it sounds.
Would make a great kit if Pitbull wanted to expand its range.
To my ears it sounds a lot like a Hot Rodded Fender Strat, the neck is made from hard maple, and the body is made from Basswood according to the Steinberger website, and yes the neck is a full 25.5 inch Fender Scale neck, pickups are passive types, although you could retrofit some active EMGs in it if you wanted to, I just made a single ball-end string adaptor for my Steinberger guitar so I could put a set of Ernie Ball Super Slinky 42-09 gauge strings on it, so far the adaptor I made seems to work well enough, I'm going to order a commercially made adaptor online next fortnight.

Reason why I put the Super Slinkys on....the stock strings were 46-10 gauge strings so I found them a bit too heavy for my liking, in terms of string-tension.

I agree, I did see at least one Headless guitar kit and one Headless bass kit in amongst the range of kits on offer, they might have been discontinued for some reason, maybe Adam might know why.
