    Just sayin'.....
I said something similar to my daughter, who is about to start sanding her first project, an ash Jazzmaster-ish guitar. She pointed out that she had taken that into consideration, but she needed it not to clash with other color choices in her room.

I'll be her assistant on this project, and it will be the first time that I have applied a solid color without having botched an attempt at staining first... So... Lilac you say?

Kit arrived yesterday. Weirdly they were sent out at the same time but arrived about a week apart. No complaints here though I have bitten off more than I can chew (and more than my study space will allow) with 2 kits at the same time so I probably wont even unbox and inspect this until the weekend. Maybe seeing the ash will change my mind about a solid colour but I nevertheless I think I will go timbermate and spray can shopping on the weekend for my DSC-1. Oh no, I have to go to Bunningtons! :P

Also I noticed the explorer bass is back in stock. DO NOT buy another kit, Glen!

Omicron covid is hitting the UK hard, it's very transmissible and is pretty much worldwide, so don't be surprised if you get even more lockdowns in Aus. So you'll need something to do, and it's best to be prepared.
