It hasn't happened to me in a while.
I should have known I was tempting fate when I posted about it in someone else's thread recently.

I was able to extricate the wing with minimal damage, and strip sanded the spot. I spot sprayed a bit of poly there, and it's drying now, but I can see I'll have to do that a couple times to get it buried properly
