The Tru Oil on the neck seems to have given the binding a slightly aged look, which I think works well with this guitar.

Jus tone thing - have you drilled a ground wire hole from the bridge pup cavity to a bridge post hole? I can't see one in your shield tape, though you may have just covered it up.

Yes, there is a hole drilled in to the bridge post hole. Luckily this was already done for me. The other end comes out in the Pot cavity, not the bridge pup cavity - that's maybe why you can't see it.
