Who here has tried the Artist Guitars brand guitar strings?

Someone here had posted in a thread about using Artist Guitars brand string.
I recall the comments being positive, but I'd like to know more.

I'm a die-hard D'adarrio user (10-46 on 25.5") and buy 10-packs whenever I find them on sale (usually between $65-75AU). I'm looking at the AG brand which are $55 for 12-pack.

User reviews on the site are also pretty positive, but I'd consider someone's opinion from here with more faith.

Any other D'adarrio users here that can compare the AG?

FWIW, AG offers a 4-pack for $20, so small risk/investment, but if they're as good as top brands, I'd go a 12.

When you say 4 pack, do you mean 4 strings, or 4 sets of strings? I was looking at bass strings, and what I've been seeing is round the $15 for 4 strings. I've also seen the price range for a set of 4 strings, depending on the brand, ranging from $12 to $80! I'm not sure I can see how you can get mush value from an $80 set of strings, unless you can keep your tone for a very long time!

edit: I thought I'd it the ceiling at $80... I was wrong.. I've come across several set at $100AU for 4 strings!
