Turns out I made a big mess of things while putting clear on the neck. I also did the side of the binding, but the tape job wasn't sufficient so the fretboard had some nasty spots. I was able to mostly clean it up with a razor blade but the 17th fret is still pretty rough, and I don't want to "dig" with the blade.

So now I only have a little mess to deal with, but still a mess. Lessons learned.

I'm a little surprised at how light it feels when picking it up compared to my Pacifica. I'm sure all the parts are going to add some weight though.
