They do! The southern Germans tend to call the northern Germans "Fischköppe" - "Fish heads". Because obviously, here in the north, there is not much going on besides fish. And bad weather. (Yes, Germans have funny prejudices about people from other parts of Germany.)

Seems like the 'tribalism condition' is global. Humans as I often have to remind myself are essentially pack animals.
