Haha hopefully it actually turns out to be something usable and not just a piece of wall art.

Had a small amount of free time last night and my electronics had arrived in the last couple days so thought I'd do the wiring harness.

Here is my drawing based off different diagrams and images around the internet.

And a few photos of it all done.

Pickup wired in to test everything by holding the pickup up to the strings of one of my other guitars.

You haven't wired it exactly as per your wiring diagram have you? Those tone pots are slightly different as the other end of the track isn't grounded (not that it really matters).

But I would definitely have put some heat shrink over the selector switch connections. So easy for one of those to short to ground or permanently make.

Good spot Simon. Most of the schematic is based off Rick's current schematics but I made some changes based on what I'd seen around. The other change is the push pull pot to incorporate the extra cap.

I'll give some thought to the heatshrink or other methods to make sure there is no accidently grounding.

Without heatshrink, I'd bend the two outer contacts well away from the centre, and the two inner ones a bit further away from that central ground lug. They are all very close together if left parallel.
