Close enough. I've been trying to come up with an original headstock shape, but the Telecaster is probably my favourite. Or maybe second to Rickenbacker.
Strangely, I replied to someone here a few months back that hated the Tele shape. Go figure?
I never used to like teles at all 15+ years ago but I love them now

Could have been me. I don't exactly hate them, but I do find them pretty boring. I've built a couple and I can see the appeal for sure, but man, they are EVERYWHERE!
Great kit to start with, but I see a lot of people doing scratch builds and basically doing exact copies and I just don't see the point of not at least trying to do something original if you've got all the tools and materials.
