Picked up a 2nd hand Bass Amp this morning in preparation for when the JB4-A is finished.

1st bass and amp in the household, looking forward to having a crack

I haven't been around much due to a loss in the family, plus it's been to hot to work in my workshop, but I had to share this.
I ordered this speaker at the end of 2017 from Hesu( Poland) via a group buy through Wicked Guitars here in Aus. its a vertical closed back 2x12 with Hesu's own brand of speakers. It features custom tolex in a Tomoe pattern (a family mon/crest in Japan) with one of my 3D renders on the front. there were a few delays, other people on the order not paying on time, with getting the tolex, then it sat on a wharf for a while because the container didn't get loaded onto the ship. So after a long long wait it finally arrived yesterday. Weighs a ton, sounds great!

I really need to stop looking at Gumtree and Marketplace, I stumbled on an Orange crush 20 LDX, the one with built in effects and tuner, and in even came with a Peavy Raptor plus, Strat clone. Both were in fantastic condition and barely played from what I can see, all for $120. 😁

Nice one. Those Peavy raptors are not bad guitars - obviously a cheapy entry level, but with a good setup they are pretty nice. They are identical to the Cort I restored earlier in the year, the only difference I can spot is the Cort has offset fret markers. There are a couple of factories in Korea pump out a number of different brands, sometimes the only difference is the headstock logo.
