Nice! I'm curious as to how the Leddin Hand Wounds sound, are you planning on a playing Demo?

Hand crafting guitars, because Death Rays are expensive.

Yeah, at some point I will record something & post it. I cannot make any guarantees in regards to the term "playing" though... I identify as a bass player, & these spindly little strings are still a bit foreign to me!

I've been a bit slack of late & not done too much. Probably because I strung it up too early & have been strumming on it unfinished.

I pulled the strings off last night, & took a chisel to the pickup cavity to shave off 2mm to centre it up. I plugged up the screw holes, & reseated the pickup. It looks as though the poles are a little further apart than the stock pickup, but I'm happy with where it is now sitting.

I chucked a new set of strings on it, & plugged it into my bass amp. Really happy with the sound. It has a bit of hum (to be expected from a P90, I guess), but the sound is great. Good output, with plenty of bite, & some nice warmth to back it up.

Still not happy with the nut. The strings have a lot of bounce on the 1-3 frets, & it's too easy to push the note out of tune if I press down too hard. I'm thinking this is because the nut is sitting too high? I might take the nut off next weekend & try to shave it down a bit. Also need to clean up the headstock.
