    If you have ever owned an Alfa Romeo you would know what I mean......basically all cars were blessed with having rust added at no extra cost.....direct cause was more likely crap soviet blok steel used in their bodywork.

    No I haven’t owned one of those but I have owned a Talbot Horizon in the UK which had similar issues

    Definitely not ha, but it got me to see the missus who was studying in Manchester at the time. Had to double clutch quite a bit.

    Due to salting the roads during winter, most cars of that era probably suffered the same fate.
    I remember a mini clubman estate that had to visit the wreckers due to the floor pan disintegrating.

    My old man(who’s still kicking) used to weld so many car floors to get them through the MOT’s .
