Neck. Shaping done with jigsaw & files, still needs a final sand. I have also lucked out with some nice grain patterns in the maple.





After final sand, it's Tru Oil x all the way. Probably 3 or so on the neck itself, then a few more for the headstock.

I've been using small pieces of a $5 synthetic chamois for application. It's the most "lint free" material I have found so far & the TO just slides on, especially the final coats of my JB4 with Turps added. Smooth as (enter your preferred smooth metaphor here).
