Test string-up of the Sterling. Pickups will be attended to on my return home.

Good news: intonation is spot on and the TOM bridge piece is large enough to accommodate 30" scale length. Also discovered that with a bit of coercion a 100 gauge E string fits in the machine head.

Bad news: vibrato unit is glitchy, and will require further tweaking. The temptation is to invest in a Bigsby-style unit down the track.

Also I'll probably need to shim the neck to correct the low E alignment. But I'll wait until I dress/replace the nut.
