Some tips for a Georges Harrison Rosewood Telecaster clone ?

    Hello everyone,
for the birthday of my girlfriend's father, we decided to make him a clone of Georges Harisson's famous Rosewood Telecaster!
However, there are many kits for the telecaster and I do not know what to take, and what wood would be best to imitate his once tinted!
Do you have any advice for me?
    Thank you

#2nd build will certainly be a custom kit close to the GR-1SFG

I suggest you contact Adam at Pitbull, there's a good chance they could custom make you a TL kit out of mahogany which would look like rosewood when stained correctly...... just a thought!

Good thought and as a bonus it would be a fraction of the weight of solid rosewood

    This is my pitbull TLA-1R.

I used a rosewood Dingotone kit for this finish. That's a custom colour that Dingobass created for me. I purposefully did not stain the neck rosewood as I didn't want that look, but if I did it again, I would have put a rosewood veneer on the headstock.
