Yeah, we've certainly been feeling it. Up here in the north, it hasn't been too bad, but Hobart and the Central Highlands have been copping heaps of snow.
We had -3deg C on Tuesday morning, but the days have been really clear and relatively warm @ about 12deg C. It's raining now though.

I've been keeping an eye on the weather for Miami, and the long range forecast is looking pretty good at this stage, with only a few rainy days predicted. Looks like next week you're going to be seeing a fair amount of rain.

10 days, and I'm on the plane, 11 days and I'll have some timber in my hands!!!

T Minus 5 Days!! Day Zero will be Sunday when I'm travelling, and Day 1 will be the Monday when I rock up to the workshop.

Packing has begun, clothes being sorted out(maybe eventually ironed before I go!!) making sure I have all my paperwork in order, and that my pickup, strings, music player, Samsung tablet, and all appropriate chargers are there ready to go.

It was also suggested to get ourselves a journal to make notes in, and also to take heaps of photos as we go.

Part of the paper work I need to have with me include liability indemnity, and a signed declaration allowing the school to post photos and videos of me onto their social media and website, all the usual stuff in this day and age.

Apparently Aaron's wife Stacey likes to prepare us a cake, or muffins for our first day there, while we go through our induction and safety talk prior to getting stuck into selecting timbers.

Getting close now, I can almost taste the sawdust!!
