Should turn out to be a pretty cool guitar, I think those guitars usually come from the factory with a DiMarzio Fred Humbucker in the bridge position and a DiMarzio PAF in the neck position.

Apparently JS is rocking a PAF Joe neck, and a evolution of the FRED called a Mo’ Joe. I might fit the SD’s in the interim until I save my pennies for the DiMarzio units. I can’t imagine they’ll be cheap.

A quick plug for MMF strings here. They do custom gauges as well as regular stuff and part of every purchase price goes to beyond blue. I have been using these on the TLA TH and a couple of others for a while and they are good gear. They are also helping a great charity in Beyond Blue. Check em out!

Oh dear sweet merciful funk....these things throw down. I nearly killed my poor little micro cube with the output, they are impressive clean but they get positively demonic with some gain......may need to buy a better amp Pronto.

Yeah I gotta get on tha Waz, I can vid record through my 5D canon just not sure how the sound will come up. Could also do it through Garage Band I guess....some more experimenting needed. And probably some more actual guitar playing

When do you find time to fit that in when building so many guitars? Something I seriously need to spend more time doing. Find spare time seems to be the biggest challenge.
