    Interesting use of bamboo. In the HiFi/Audiophile scene, bamboo is used for equipment racks and isolation platforms due to supposed energy absorption and resonance control properties. I would have thought this the opposite of what you would want from a guitar body material, ie deadening.

    I suppose it comes down to the process used to manufacture. I'd imagine it would be a question of how the base material gets treated and what other resins/filler/binders are used. something to research.
