Inlay stickers from Jockomo arrived today and I'm very happy with them! Trapezoids were too small so I'm saving them, I tried banjo ones also but didn't like the look. The blocks turned out great except for the 12th which wasn't long enough, but I improvised. These are .07 mm thin and IMO look great. A very easy cost effective way to brighten up a fretboard I was a little disappointed it tbh.

Also, I've had this reoccurring nightmare that the floating bridge included in this kit is going to give me a fit to intonate, and may never get as accurate as I would like. So as an experiment, I had this idea for individual floating saddles that were still height-adjustable. Rough prototype almost done but there's no way to know if they're stable enough until the bass is finished.

That will look unique if you do go down that route.

I think if the rest of it turns out great and the bridge is really an issue I will go with a modern fixed bridge. But I do love to play inventor and tinker with stuff.

Your finishing job looks fantastic! Love the figure in the wood, and the walnut is a great color.

I did a sealer coat sanding in some poly with some 400 grit and I think the saw dust particles absorb the stain in a cool way. I got some good results on scrap wood so I went ahead with it something I saw on YouTube I had never done before
