I found clear printable window decals at staples and gave it a shot. Understated, but pretty much exactly what i was going for. These seem very forgiving... unlike the kit water slide decal that gave me fits and still has a crease in it!!! Again...not perfect but I really like it.

This has really been a lesson in rolling with the punches and finding creative solutions.

OK, so these window decals are pretty sick! Easy to print, cut and position. The pickup selector switch is now my favorite part of this whole build so far!

Ain't that the truth, I think most of us can agree!

Your kit is really coming together, I like all the choices you're making so far. The finish is perfect for this body style, the headstock is really creative and unique, and the decals are a great touch!

Fantastic. I just received the same kit today in Canada and it looks great. Will post my progress soon.

Curious to what number you get!! The website pic shows 82 and I got 88. Doesn't seem to be a popular kit but it's a really cool bass

All it has to do is get hot enough to melt the solder, so its probably fine. I prefer to use the more 'pen' shaped ones - might be tricky to use that if you have to solder inside a cavity.
    Build 1 - Shoegazer MK1 JMA-1
    Build 2 - The Relliecaster TL-1
Build 3 - The Black Cherry SG AG-1
    Build 4 - The Sonicaster TL-1ish
    Build 5 - The Steampunker Bass YB-4
    Build 6 - The Howling Gowing ST-1

I'm with Sonic on this one, the pen ones are a whole lot easier. They are super cheap too from a Radio Shack or Wally World, you should get change from fifteen bucks.
Also, if you are new to soldering you will find it a whole lot easier with a nice new tip on it.
