The DM-1 kit seems quite expensive (because i don't have any of my own pickups to put in) but it looks quite nice although i'm looking for something on the cheaper side. i'll definitely have a crack at that kit sometime in the future

Confusing ordering process and it may come with a black pickup for $195 but for an extra $30 you get chrome pickup and hardware upgrade = $225 all up delivered anywhere in OZ.Originally Posted by Airwick
Good simple kit due to bolt on neck plus just one pickup and no switches. Bonus is the flame maple veneer over mahogany.
GTL-1B with chrome hardware for $175 is best value. Acknowledge it is another tele but it has better looking Ash body compared to most other kits.
