Three weeks of heat in the shed was enough to fully cure the clear coat, but it was very orange peely. Friday afternoon, sporadically though saturday and then sunday morning was spent wet sanding through the grits. 800, 1000, 1200 and then 1500.

That's when I sanded through and knocked off some blue.



Bugger.

Oh well, it's just a little, I'll push on...then it happened again... Oh well, it's the back and it's not that bad. Then it happened again....on the front.

I give up. I swear this build is cursed. I might consider the dreaded relic option, but I hate that idea. I might end up stripping it right back (for the 4th time!!!!) and starting again or I might just bash my head into a wall until I pass out. Either way...

Yes, bad words at high volume. I have an EXA-1 that very nearly got Townshended before completion for similar reasons. DT Black Stump attempted 4 times. In the end I pushed ti through to completion, the colour was good but the final coats would not even out.
