Congrats to Sonic and Mango on their awesome builds and well deserved accolades!!

Thanks also to the judges for their time and feedback on all the other entrant's builds....

    Great feedback indeed.

Oh wow! I'm a little stunned

I was really happy with how this guitar came together and thought I had a chance, but scrolling through the other entires and there are some very classy and well put together builds, its so hard to split them. Congratulations to everyone who got an entry up and of course to Mango who deserves a lot of credit for the burst finish on his PRS.

Thank you to all, this is such a welcoming community and great hobby. The decision to stop building cars and start building guitars has been one of the best I've made and having this forum to guide and inspire has played no small role in that.

A special thanks to the judges who's job just seems to get more difficult each month (even in the short time I've been here). The high standard of entires in this comp month to month is very inspiring as a builder and certainly pushed me to go that little bit further.

I've been a bit quiet on the building front lately as I'm trying to get a painting finished for an art show and I've promised myself not to touch the other kits until its done. Can't wait to get stuck back into it.

Yeah I had a few moments with this one (Such as breaking the horn) where I thought it might not work out. I'm quickly learning that there isn't much that can't be recovered from, even if it means changing your original plans.

I can't believe this result (apart from Sonic's win of course, haha). Thanks very much for the feedback and encouragement, I've already ordered my next project. Someone on here warned me that this is an addictive hobby and they were right! Congratulations to all of the entries, I honestly believe that each one of them is a worthy winner. This is such a great community, I think it's going to be a lot of fun!
    Thanks again.
