Still waiting to get the sms txt with the address on it, you think they would have sent it to my mobile phone straight away, honestly how long does it take to send a txt message?

In the process of phoning them up to make an enquiry on the pickup arrangements, they've put me on hold.

This whole thing has gone seriously pear-shaped.

Okay, just got off the phone and apparently they will be sending me the sms txt message to my phone once my parcel is ready for pickup.

Just for the fun of it, I downloaded Google Earth onto my computer, had to download and install the Chrome web browser first, anyway, I launched Google Earth and tried doing a search for the street that my home address is on, and....I easily found it.

It's 1:50pm and I still haven't received an sms txt message from Toll Express Parcels with their address on it so I can go and pick up my parcel in person, how long does it take to get one measly parcel that weighs 2 pounds ready for pickup?

So, this whole thing has become a big joke, let's recap....initially, the parcel was originally "supposed" to be delivered to my home address on the 23/01/2018....Toll Express Parcels attempted delivery, failed, never even got to my address or left a "Missed Delivery" card....excuse was that they couldn't find my address, delivery was re-scheduled for the 24/01/2018,....again delivery failed, same excuse as before, delivery was re-scheduled for the 29/01/2018, delivery failure yet again with the same excuse as before, delivery was rescheduled for the 30/01/2018,...you guessed it...delivery failure yet again with the same exact excuse as before, so, I wait until this morning and called the Darwin NT Toll Express Parcels Depot and put in a request to pick up the parcel myself, the person on the phone asked me to give them the consignment number, my name and mobile phone number, and then they told me that an sms txt message with the Depot's address would be sent to my phone today, I wait until around 11:am today....no txt message was received, so I ring the Depot up again and was told that the sms txt message would be sent after the parcel is ready for pickup.

My understanding is that "Express Delivery" means that the parcel is delivered with the least delay, my parcel is now 9 days overdue, if that's their idea of Express Delivery I would shudder to think what their idea of "Normal" delivery is.

Note that on each of the days that the parcel was "supposed" to be delivered, I was at home, in my new flat, waiting for my parcel to be delivered the whole day and nothing turned up at all.

I suppose I could, but I have to wait till they have finished getting my parcel ready for pickup, been waiting all day since 7:00am this morning for them to send me the address of their Darwin NT Depot address, and it's now 1:58pm.

Just need to pop-out and go pay a power/water bill at Jacana Energy in the Mitchell Street Plaza....be back soon.

It's probably sitting at the counter waiting for you to come in, and none there in the office knows how to send a SMS from a desk phone....

And then nice little cruise down Tiger Brennan? I'd just go and stand in the office until they go find it for you.
