29 Model A. Four inch stretch in the body so we have a bit more leg room.
Grill is standard Model A. Moved forward to accomodate the stretch and motor.

Ah cool. I knew there was something going on but I am not familiar enough with the early girls to pick it. Looks like you've put the holden cross member in as well? Sensible idea, I do have a soft spot for the I beam from a looks perspective, but the handling and safety upgrade of doing the independent front end can't be understated.

Cool rig, I got rid of my workshop ornament a couple of months ago. No regrets, but I still find myself casually looking around for another car project, its a sickness.

I am 100% certain that Adam can help you fill the void with Guitar Projects. I’ve a couple of spare mahogany body blanks if you feel the need to scratch build. (Who me...an enabler? ;D)

A scratch build is definitely on the cards for this year. I probably have enough left over kit hardware to do one now. I was thinking of doing a neck through in pine as a test run before I ruin any really nice wood It will have to wait a little while though. I have another tele on the way and still have the Bass to build. I finally received some stuff for that yesterday, but as you would expect today is my first day back at work for the new year and my email is already chockers.
