I rarely get time off during the year, I work 2 jobs from home and carry the lions share of the housework (my wife shift works), so having a bit of time where I am not constantly picking up after everyone or being a taxi service is awesome.
It also lets me do things like paint and renovate - much easier to make progress when you don't have to work around people
