Started the carve. Neck break angle has been routed. Pickup cavities routed. Control layout drilled. Just need to complete the carve and rout the neck pocket and I'm ready to drill the bridge and tailpiece in and do my final finishing.

I fear that a pickup ring will now overhang the carve on the bridge pickup, especially on that bottom edge. I'd check and see what you think. It might be best to direct mount the pickups to the body and forego the rings.Originally Posted by darryl.bellotti
