    Hi Andy, No, the kit one is rear mount only. I had to modify it (and body) to get the string-through arrangement. Have scoured the net for a model-correct aftermarket unit, but only found types the same as supplied in the kit.

    Right, yes I was having the same problem with my JBA build, was considering a string through but I could not find a suitable after market bridge.

    Try one of these Andy. Same one I used on my J Bass and it works much better than stock units and has a bit more travel to allow for thicker gauge strings.

    Now if someone made a 5 string version of this... cheapest (non quick release) 5 string bridge I can find is $65+
