    If you do away with the tone controls altogether, you are going to get a much brighter sound. You may just want to fit a capacitor and resistor in series from the output signal to ground (simulating a tone pot set to 10) to tame the brightness a bit, though it may depend on the pickups used, plus personal preference. I know Strat pickups can sound rather harsh with no tone control.

    Yeah right ... even with 500k pots? I'm sticking with the Dirty Torque/Blues Engine combo on the next build too ... Maybe I'll stick with master tone/volume then ...
