    Actually I think it was a Spanish chap who got his quiet friend, 'Placid' José, to hold the bridge for him.

    I suggest putting some clear gloss or even clear nail polish on the switch panel edges that you had to modify,once you break the chrome surface rust will appear in no time and get under the edges and bubble up. Speaking from experience in other fields. (Mind you I do like close to the ocean). Love the build!

    Too true, but I do think there are specific challenges that occur when you are making serious modifications to the stock instrument - and they are the ones I get excited about seeing solved!

    Thanks for the advice Deds but it's all good, the only mods I had to make were to the mild steel bracket that goes behind the chrome switchplate, that I didn't touch
