Mine was a transistor 30W 2x12" Marshal Lead Combo like this one.

I used my Ibanez TS808 on a low volume to provide the rhythm setting and then turned it off for lead, in order to get a decent volume boost. For a 30W tranny amp, it was pretty loud, and for a mid-late '70s tranny amp, didn't sound that bad. And it wasn't too heavy, which was good, as I sometimes had to carry it about 1/2 mile to rehearsals when I was at Uni, on a pretty hilly campus.

Thats nothing I used to have to carry a full Marshall stack 5 miles up a mountain, fight the drop bears, play one song then be back home before 9pm, you tell that to the young people today and they won't believe you.

Luxury! When I were lad, I had t'carry Pearl Jam's entire rig undred Mile through snowstorm int middle of night to play desert concert in 50 degree 'eat W' only 1 arthritic roadie and do sound check before we set up else Eddie Vedder would play acoustic solo work til we saved t'rain forest. But you tell young folk that these days they don't believe a word!
