nope , hasn't been forgotten! have been waiting on bits.
Pick guard is a Pab's clear kustom jobbie with a reverse applied decal on the back. I love what you can achieve with this, he's doing one for my Bass VI now.
pick guard is on, wired, she sings. Impressed with the lip sticks, altho the bucker is a bit thin when split on the whole they sound great for surf. Totally sold on the Duesenburg trem, going to get one for my LP when I can afford it. It bends in either direction and no fiddling about setting it up, returns to tune so far. Will let this sit for a week, re-string it (it has some fret buzz on low E and a tiny bit on A) and will do more photo's then.
in the mean time "SURF'S UP ! last one in is a rotten ...body"

    Nice!

I find there's something a bit 'not quite right' looking about the trem despite its great engineering; though it does add a real '50s/'60s vibe to the guitar.

If the lip'bucker is too thin when split you could try running both coils in parallel rather than splitting them or maybe the half-out-of-phase variant with a cross-linked cap (Entwistle version).

    Btw, it looks great.

Simon, I hear you, I think its the brace running to the centre, we are used to seeing it off to the bottom side, no doubt its positioning aids the even tension, but it does look a little strange, but what the hell, its a Mosrite with lipsticks, it IS a bit strange!

    Thanks Weirdy,could I be bothered re-wiring?...probaby not LOL :P
