New bass cabinet day (NBCD) for Woks (and fretless bass)

howdy, saw this Hartke 15 " speaker bass cabinet (on the bottom) for $100 on Perth Bass players FB page, wow I got the full sound now. I have to apologise to my neighbours for the noise I'll be making ahha

He has replaced the speaker with a 250 watt Peavey speaker and it sounds clear and solid

off to get an unshielded speaker cable for it and I'll give it a good crank. Used a guitar lead to try it out and the windows were shaking on volume 1 haha

does any bass amp experts know whether I should run each cabinet from the 2 amp outputs or piggy back and run and extension from one cabinet to the other ? First time I've powered two cabs from one amp. Cheers

Bonus I also picked up the fretless bass for $100 in the photo

    Score!!!!!
Either way you described is in parallel. As long as the Amp will run to the impedance. If they are both 8ohm cabs your amp needs to be able to run down to at least 4. If they are 4 ohms your amp needs yo be able to run down to 2ohms. If you go under the amps rated impedance you risk cooking the outputs.
I would check the Impedence on the Speaker inside the enclosure, since it's been changed out it may differ from the label on the box.

cheers guys. I'll have a play later when it cools down, currently a warm 36 degrees here.

I might have to leave some earplugs in the neighbours house closest to the amp !
